Maya leads editorial at iGaming Expert Hub. She oversees brand reviews, provincial guides, and regulatory analysis. Before iGaming Expert Hub, she spent 4 years as a contracted compliance reviewer for AGCO-registered operators, focused on the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming. She holds a B.A. in Political Science (University of Toronto) and certificates in iGaming compliance and AML/KYC.
Maya started in the iGaming industry in 2019 as a junior compliance analyst at a Curaçao-licensed sportsbook operator. After three years on the operator side, she moved to contract work auditing AGCO-registered Ontario operators against the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming, including responsible gambling protocols, advertising rules, and KYC/AML requirements. This work spanned Ontario's iGaming open market launch in April 2022 and the subsequent two years of the regulated framework's expansion.
She founded iGaming Expert Hub in early 2026 with the goal of producing Canadian-context crypto casino reviews that meet AGCO-equivalent editorial standards even when reviewing offshore operators.
