Our Methodology

1. Brand selection

An operator is eligible for review if it meets all of:

• Holds a recognised license (Curaçao, Anjouan, MGA, UKGC, or equivalent)
• Accepts at least one of: BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC
• Accepts Canadian players (no geo-block on .ca IPs)
• Has been operating for ≥ 6 months at time of review
• Has no unresolved player-protection complaints with its licensing authority

Operators failing any of these criteria are excluded entirely — they don't appear in our rankings even if they pay aggressive commissions.

2. Real-deposit testing protocol

For every review, we:

1. Create an account using a test profile (Canadian-controlled email, real ID for KYC where required)
2. Deposit $50–$100 CAD equivalent in crypto (typically USDT for stable comparability)
3. Log: deposit timestamp, confirmation timestamp, network fee, on-chain confirmations required
4. Play at least 5 sessions across slots, originals, live dealer, and (where available) sportsbook
5. Test customer support live chat at least twice (one peak time, one off-peak)
6. Withdraw the remaining balance back to a Canadian-controlled wallet
7. Log: withdrawal request timestamp, processing timestamp, on-chain broadcast timestamp, wallet receipt timestamp
8. Photograph each step (deposit screen, gameplay, withdrawal confirmation)

3. Scoring rubric

Every operator is scored on five weighted dimensions, totaling 100%:

Payment speed (30%)

Measured from our test transactions. Sub-15-min withdrawals score 5/5. Each additional 15 minutes drops the score by 0.5. Anything over 4 hours scores 1/5. We measure actual wallet receipt, not the operator's "processing" status.

License & safety (25%)

Curaçao LOK (post-2024) scores 4.5/5. Legacy Curaçao sub-license scores 3.5/5. Anjouan scores 3/5. MGA/UKGC score 5/5 (rare for crypto operators). Brands with active complaints at their licensing body lose 1 point.

Game library (20%)

Scored on breadth (5,000+ titles = 5/5), depth (live dealer present, originals, provably-fair), and provider diversity (10+ providers including Pragmatic, Evolution, Hacksaw, Push Gaming, Nolimit City, BGaming).

Bonus fairness (15%)

Scored on the math, not the headline. A 100% match with 30× wagering on bonus only scores higher than 300% match with 50× wagering on (deposit + bonus). Wagering-free bonuses score top.

Support (10%)

Live chat < 2 min connect, accurate responses, English fluency: 5/5. Email-only: max 3/5. No live chat: max 2/5.

4. Refresh cadence

• Weekly: rescore the top-5 leaderboard against any new tested data
• Monthly: retest withdrawal speed at top-5 brands
• Quarterly: full re-review of every brand on the site (deposit + withdrawal cycle, support test, license verification)
• Triggered: any material change (license loss, ownership change, regulator action) prompts immediate review and update

5. Conflicts of interest

We accept affiliate commissions when readers sign up at operators through our links. Our editorial policy on this:

• No operator pays for higher placement
• No operator can edit, suppress, or pre-approve a review
• No operator has equity in our company
• Editors do not personally hold operator equity
• Affiliate disclosure appears inline above every outbound link and on a dedicated page

6. Corrections policy

Material errors (factual inaccuracy in a review, outdated regulatory claim, broken bonus math) are corrected within 48 hours of discovery. Corrected pages display a "Corrected on [date]" stamp at the top, with a brief description of what changed.

7. Player complaint policy

If you've had a material problem with an operator we recommend (delayed withdrawal > 7 days, account closed without explanation, bonus terms misapplied), email complaints@igamingexperthub.com. We log every report. Operators with three or more substantiated complaints in a quarter are flagged with a public warning on their review page.
